Members

The SVA volunteer staff of over 40 members consists of New York State Certified Paramedics, Critical Care Technicians, and Emergency Medical Technicians, drivers and helpers

Several of our members are cross-certified with the Southampton Fire Department as Firefighters.  These volunteers have additional training in surface water rescue, ice rescue, heavy rescue, & emergency vehicle operations (EVOC & CEVO).

COVERAGE AREA

Our district encompasses both the North Sea and the Southampton Fire Districts excluding the Village of Southampton.  Our organization operates with three advanced life support ambulances.  Over the course of a year we respond approximately 800 - 911 calls.  This includes support for motor vehicles accidents, sick and injured members of our community.
